Default PvP Unlock Packs: Petition thread to include Elites

Why the PvP unlock packs dont come with elite skills? It makes no sense for me- if elite skills are not included...now way Im buying it..

So..thats my petition:

INCLUDE ELITE SKILLS ON PVP UNLOCK PACKS.

If you agree, sign on.

You learn all skills in that campaign. Because all of them are unlocked, this means your pve characters can buy them at the skill trainer. But you can't buy elite skills at the skill trainer.

Reading comprehension ftw.

They don't? That's strange I admit but I can't say I care (Legendary Skill Hunter ftw). If I were to buy one of these packs it would just be for the normal skills. I doubt i'll buy one anyway.

Go back, read, and (I know it's hard for you) think about it for a minute.

It unlocks all skills on the account. Unlocked skills (except elites) are available at skill trainers for PvE characters.

Easy to see what type of players buy the unlock packs - not only bad at the game but also bad at reading.
/point /laugh

Tip: there's even a Show Skills button in the store so you can see exactly which skills it unlocks, and it's full of elites.

PvP skills are for PvP characters. Unlock rules apply to these skills as they do to skills unlocked in PvE or through faction.

You can get Elites with the $19 PVP pack but they are only unlocked for PVP and Heroes.

I think the problem is people aren't sure if the OP is correct and you don't get elite skills, or if he is just confused/wrong about the unlock packs not having elite skills.

Basically, can anyone who actually knows what they are talking about confirm/deny that you don't get elite skills in the unlock packs?

It should include Elites if it doesn't, and Just have the elites usable for pvp/heroes, of course you can't buy them at the trainer.. how hard is that?

Hello I am a generic whammo and I believe that unlock packs should give me the elite skills in PvE instead of making me cap them. This is outrageous that Anet is not changing the skill unlock mechanic so that I can get Healing Hands before going to the Ring of Fire. Please sign my poorly written petition if you agree with me.

it does include elites... but as you said, they just aren't available to buy at a trader...

My family just bought a bunch of the packs. They clearly include elites. If you look at the list of skills in the store, they clearly include elites. The GW webpage even says it. "These skills (except elite skills) also become available for your PvE characters to learn from any Factions skill trainer" for instance. Why would it mention elites at all in that context unless they are included in the pack?

If you don't like that you can't get them at a skill trainer, get an elite skill tome.
